These incredible guys will be performing at The Crowd Test Festival — the first-ever Art and Music Festival by The Sandy Times — on November 16, 2024, at Monkey Bar, Dubai. Whatever they come up with, it is going to be amazing — we promise.

Tickets are available here

Why are we such huge fans of the videos (and music) that the guys from Mainline Magic Orchestra create? Sometimes, it is so simple that it is beautiful. Because it breaks all the rules. Because they don't take themselves too seriously. Because they just do whatever they want. And that is exactly what we need — a creative spirit that refuses to be boxed in, that lets the imagination run wild, tunes out the noise, and follows what feels right. Crazy. Weird. Absolutely brilliant.

Mainline Magic Orchestra — Xumba Xumba

Why do we love this video? Well, first of all, it is the band's very first video, made entirely by themselves — just using whatever materials they had lying around (yes, the set is made of cardboard, and they cut it all out themselves!). And second, after chatting with these guys in person a couple of weeks ago, it is clear how much they genuinely enjoy the whole process. Watch this video — we guarantee you will be humming "Xumba Xumba" all day long after.
Daniel: It all started with some brainstorming on a Sunday. By the next day, we were already calling up our friends to help us with cutting things out, painting props, and putting everything together. We spent about three or four days cutting paper and getting all the pieces ready.
Nile: We were talking a lot about how we could use certain effects, but we couldn't afford anything fancy like a CGI snake or anything like that. So, the main idea was to use really basic effects — like using paper and paint to create visuals instead of digital effects.

Mainline Magic Orchestra — MMO Theme

For this video, the guys from Mainline Magic Orchestra decided to bury themselves in the sand — because, well, why not? So, throughout the entire clip, you see sand, microphones, and just the heads of the band members singing “Mainline Magic, Mainline Magic!”
It looks fantastic, but what was going on behind the scenes? According to John Heaven, "The day was really windy, and it was tough to keep our eyes open." And honestly, you can kind of see it in the video!

Mainline Magic Orchestra — House Music 2 The World

This is a performance by Mainline Magic Orchestra at Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona. Personally, I love rewatching this video because, even though I wasn't there, I wish I could have been. I just want to be transported, to feel overwhelmed by the sound of the Mainline Magic Orchestra and their energy. And I am sure the Crowd Test Festival is going to be even better!

John Heaven's Aggression Test

This is not a music video; it is a different one. This video is a perfect way to understand everything about the guys and about John Heaven. It is so simple that it is wonderful.
Remember Daniel's words: “Mainline Magic Orchestra actually started as a joke, and we've kept that joke going ever since.” So, please, always be ready for a joke from them.
Also, a personal request to the band — please make more videos because they are absolutely fantastic.
