Secta — the unique collective made up of Julian Lovett (Ju Lovett), Kirill Zhan, Elisa (Dea), and Bianca (Baby B) — the crew you probably know for their meticulously curated electronic parties (and let’s be real, that iconic cage that has become their signature by now) — is finally stepping into a whole new chapter: their very first open-air festival.
Were we waiting for this? Oh yes.
Will it be massive? Even more than that.
Save the date: April 19th, The Hangar, JA The Resort, Jebel Ali | 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Tickets? Right here.
Dea: “I think we’ve always dreamed of doing an open-air edition — since forever! As huge fans of techno festivals, we absolutely love that feeling of being outdoors, and in Dubai, where the weather can be seriously gorgeous, it just makes sense. Now it’s happening — and it’s going to be stunning. We’re talking XXL metal structures inspired by our iconic cage, all set in a super cool industrial space. For the first time, we’ll have two techno stages, which is super exciting. We’re also collaborating with some amazing local independent brands, which makes it even more special. It’s all about showcasing the talent behind every detail of the show. We hope this is just the beginning — the first of many open-air editions to come. It’s such a cool new chapter for Secta, right alongside our classic club nights.”

The first question on everyone’s mind: Who is playing? Headlining the night — NEUX, KHIDI resident and a regular on the Berlin circuit.
Dea: “NEUX is a young artist, but she’s already managed to capture our attention with her skills and sharp selection. Listening to her sets feels like a journey through space and time — full of flawless blends and beautifully layered sounds.
We’ve always felt a special connection with Georgian artists. Over the years, we’ve hosted many at Secta, and they’ve never once disappointed. There’s something about the Georgian scene that really resonates with us — it aligns perfectly with our core values and vision.”

Besides NEUX, the full Secta team is playing too — Ju Lovett, Dea, Baby B, Kirill Zhan (doing a b2b with Cyrill Reaidy), plus local names you probably already know like Rose-End and PEAXH.
So, the full lineup is: NEUX, Ju Lovett, Dea, Baby B, Kirill Zhan b2b Cyrill Reaidy, Rose-End, PEAXH.
There will be two stages, featuring sound and design on another level. Think Modul- engineering precision, Secta’s own Danley sound system, the locally built Tone Farm setup (you might’ve heard it at SOLE DXB 2024), and on the second stage — Sawt System, delivering a raw, immersive atmosphere with ocean views.
But it is not just about music.
The event will also feature panel talks in collaboration with THE KARAK — those guys who always manage to bring together Dubai’s creative crowds. What are they covering this time? Topics like community building, safety & awareness, the real struggles behind alternative scenes, and how club culture values are applied in the region — plus other relevant, raw, and necessary conversations.
Dea: “Since day one, Secta has been about community. It’s not just about music — it’s about embracing the deeper values of club culture and creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and connected. That’s why creative community building will be a core part of this edition. We’re introducing an open talk format with the Secta team, and we’re super excited to welcome local brands like SOLE, Hive, and Vinyl Souk to join the panel. Including this kind of educational element in our events feels essential to us — it adds real depth to what we do. And of course, we’ll balance it all with some fun — we’ll be running community interviews throughout the show to keep the energy real and the vibe interactive.”

And… fashion!
If Secta can throw unforgettable parties (and drop poster designs people literally collect), imagine what happens when they drop their own merch. You will get to see it at the event.
Introducing two special collabs:
Secta x Peace Venue: An exclusive capsule collection blending both brands’ raw aesthetics, delivering bold 3D-style pieces with serious alternative energy.
Secta x The Workshop DXB: Live screen-printing in action — cotton tees, exclusive Secta graphics, fresh off the press right in front of you.

Dea: “Secta x Peace Venue will be bringing some bold, 3D-style pieces that really capture an alternative vibe. Meanwhile, Secta x Workshop will be printing exclusive, super fresh graphics live — right on the spot. And we’re gifting the first 20 tees to our cute early birds.”
So yeah, mark your calendars. This isn’t just a party — it is an experience. A full reflection of the energy, creativity, and passion that defines the Secta community. You are gonna want to witness it.
