That is no secret, all the cool kids in Dubai want to live in one place — the Eden House. And no, we are not talking about a gothic rock collective from the UK. We are talking about the residence, located in the OG area of Al Satwa. This place attracts many creative and young professionals who are making their living in Dubai.
DJs, chefs, art directors, fashion stylists, set designers, influence managers — why do all these cool people choose Eden House?
Misbah Chowdhury, film photographer and guest manager: “There definitely is a buzz around Eden House as it is in a prime location & the level of luxury is unmatched.”
Let’s find out.
But first, here is a quick glimpse on the property.
The Concept
Eden House positions itself more than just a residential address, but they claim to represent a lifestyle of effortless elegance and unmatched luxury. This premier development in Dubai's heart with the best shawarma places, is set to epitomise modern sophistication, blending the warmth and comfort of a home with the world-class services and amenities of a luxury hotel. Designed to meet the high expectations of its residents, Eden House is a seamless integration of design, comfort, and unparalleled service.
The Location
Al Satwa, or as the development company names it, Jumeirah Garden Circle, is definitely a prime location. Not only you are right in front of the gorgeous 25h Hotel with all it has to offer, you also have fabulous coffee places like ABC Coffee Roasters (One Central) and The Barn (City Walk) minutes away. Downtown District, DIFC, and trendy beach destinations like La Mer are also considered nearby treats.
The Lavishness
Eden House is known to be a hotel-level pretty. The building was designed by the local architectural firm Dxb Lab, drawing inspiration from traditional Arabian courtyard houses. The 30-story modernist glass and steel tower rises from a central podium, enclosed by a fortress-like stone façade (super pretty), creating a courtyard setting that fosters community life. At this central podium, one can find a cute cafe La Gente, which is a common coworking place for all residents, and the Platform Studios gym, with all-new TechnoGym toys.
The interiors, crafted by award-winning designer Tristan Auer, showcase refined colour palettes and rich materials. Residents can enjoy Arabescato marble bathrooms, French oak kitchens and wardrobes, and textured feature walls. Kitchens and wardrobes are custom-made in Italy, and all units are fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and ample storage space.
What is on the menu?
Eden House comprises 186 luxurious residential units exclusively for lease, ranging from studios to one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with or without balconies. Each unit offers sweeping terraces and panoramic views, showing off space and light. Modern functional layouts are filled with natural light and provide stunning views of the downtown skyline and ocean.
What is actually on the menu (food part)?
Most importantly, this feeling of luxury is achieved through an everyday access to Moonrise, a renowned restaurant with a Michelin star, located at the rooftop of the building.
Led by Solemann Haddad, the most promising young chef, the restaurant is known for its exceptional eight-course omakase, thoughtfully paired with four beverages.
Okay, we got it, nice features. But aren’t all Dubai houses like this?
Well, yeah. Dubai housing is exceptional. The city offers the highest quality comfort to its residents, including 24h security, gyms, beautiful pools (Eden House has a rooftop one and it is cold even during the summer). But this residency also offers a cherry-picked community of cool creative professionals that came here for something more than just a house. Like a dorm, but in a lavish adult style.
Polina Kutukova, SMM Editor at The Sandy Times: “They're building more Eden Houses, other developers are building their own community-residential buildings, which is very cool. I think the reason why there is a buzz about my place is that it is very stylish, modern, and it looks very minimalistic, which I love."
Residents, Moonrise guests and workers all have a special place in their hearts for the Eden House’s staff.
Polina Kutukova, SMM Editor at The Sandy Times: “I chose Eden House as a main residence because I had my friends living here, and also I liked the building, the community, and the service they provide really standed out from all the other buildings which I've seen. Just genuinely the vibe made me feel that I should start living here. In Eden House’s community, you don't feel like you live in the centre of everything, but get this super calm and relaxed vibe here because of the people and the way it is built with our little garden, where you can just sit in a cafe and enjoy your slow life which is uh very rare in Dubai.”
Misbah Chowdhury, film photographer and guest manager: “The high quality of service from the concierge, especially Kristine, the support staff, and the security."
This is how the Eden House community describes their life there:
Misbah Chowdhury, film photographer and guest manager: “Fast-paced but extremely rewarding.”
Polina Kutukova, SMM Editor at The Sandy Times: “Hello MTV, welcome to my crib. I would say that it is pretty chilled out. Most days, I don't like leaving my apartment, which might not be as good, but I’m happy. I have my little office, where I sit and work in quietness, and I don't feel this buzz of Dubai, which is great for me. It is very quiet, which I like, but still, I'm super central, and I can get anywhere usually within minutes.”
Concluding, this sounds like a residency with a perfect combo.
Indeed, people move to Dubai to find a better life — a better workplace, better comfort, better capital. But we all need the community. First of all, we are social beings (in the opinion of this author, it is prior to human beings). We all need people, and Eden House definitely stands out because it offers not simply comfort but a space to make friends and not feel lonely, even if you are sitting at a cafe or sunbathing on the rooftop.
Having Moonrise means having lots of foody guests with great knowledge about taste and cuisine, and having a good gym means being surrounded by fit and self-caring people. So, essentially, Eden House is much more than a home hotel. It is actually not a hotel at all; it is a place that looks good and fosters a community where you can feel at home.
P.S. “Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name” song is playing.
