MDLBEAST Soundstorm: Eminem, Muse, Tyler, The Creator Head To Riyadh
9 Oct 2024
Everyone is talking about it, so we will too: if you can't make it to see Eminem or Muse at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 5-8, don’t stress — because they (and so many more) will be performing at MDLBEAST Soundstorm in Riyadh! Here is everything you need to know about the festival.
When and where?
Mark your calendars: December 12–14 at the historic Banban site. Every day, music starts at 7:00 pm and runs until 4:00 am.
Who is performing?
The lineup is almost too good to be true. Seriously, with names like these, it is hard not to buy a ticket right away. Thirty Seconds to Mars, Eminem, Muse, Tyler, The Creator, Akon, Armin van Buuren, Black Coffee, David Guetta, Jason Derulo, Steve Aoki — just to name a few. Honestly, we are still pinching ourselves as we list these artists. It is going to be epic — actually, it is going to be a real storm.

Information for those hearing about the festival for the first time
MDLBEAST Soundstorm is an annual music festival in Saudi Arabia that has taken the global music scene by storm (and yes, you will hear the word "storm" a lot when talking about this festival). Launched in 2019, the festival was born from an ambitious vision: to transform the cultural landscape of Saudi Arabia and bring large-scale entertainment to the heart of the Middle East. By embracing electronic dance music (EDM) and featuring a mix of international superstars and local talent, Soundstorm has quickly earned its reputation as one of the most exciting and inclusive music festivals in the world.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Saudi desert, the festival takes place at the historic Banban site near Riyadh. Since its debut, Soundstorm has drawn some of the biggest names in the industry—David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Steve Aoki — and this year was no exception (you have seen the impressive list of headliners before). Each year, Soundstorm delivers a genre-spanning lineup, blending rising stars with established artists and offering a truly special experience for everyone who attends.
But MDLBEAST Soundstorm isn't just about music. It iis a cultural statement tied to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which is a government initiative to modernize the country and welcome new cultural influences. The festival showcases Saudi Arabia's commitment to embracing modern entertainment and providing its youth with diverse opportunities. Featuring international headliners alongside regional talent, Soundstorm is an unparalleled platform for emerging Middle Eastern artists to shine on the global stage.
