Supercar Blondie recently broke the news that the Dubai Police have added a jet car to their already impressive fleet of vehicles. This addition means the police force can now pursue suspects even on water.

Dubai's police supercars have become iconic symbols of the city's extravagance and luxury, capturing global attention and recognition. They are regularly featured in media coverage worldwide and have become a must-see attraction. Early February this year, the Dubai Government announced that Dubai Police added a Lotus Eletre R to its high-powered fleet of tourist patrol cars. It features dual electric motors generating 905 horsepower and is recognised as the world's fastest dual-motor electric SUV in the realm of versatile sports cars. The fully electric drive system offers a harmonious blend of high performance, quick responsiveness, and an impressive range of up to 600 kilometres.

Mercedes-Benz EQS 580

In August 2023, the police fleet welcomed the addition of the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 electric vehicle (EV). This luxury EV boasts a powerful 516 hp dual-engine, enabling acceleration from 0–100 kph in just 4.3 seconds. With a fully charged battery, it can travel up to 717 kilometres (WLTP). Equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems and interactive screens, the vehicle provides drivers with essential information, ensuring a smooth and seamless driving experience.

Maserati GranTurismo

The Maserati GranTurismo is an authentic Italian classic that was first added to the Dubai Police fleet in 2019. Not only does it allow the traffic police to patrol the streets with elegance, but it also offers a comfortable ride. This beast can reach top speeds of up to 300 kilometres per hour with its 4.7 litre V8 engine, allowing Dubai Police to swoop in and catch up to any speeders.

Toyota Supra

Toyota Supra joined the Dubai Police fleet in 2021. This Japanese sports car, powered by a 3.0-litre engine, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.1 seconds, with a maximum speed of 250 kph.

Bugatti Veyron

The Bugatti Veyron is definitely a gem in the Dubai Police fleet. It is known for its mind-blowing top speed of 407 kph, making it the muscle car in the fleet. Bugatti's Super Sport version of the Veyron takes things to another level with a top speed of 431 kph. This snarling hulk of a sports car is incredibly fast and one of the most valuable, with a price tag of around $2 million.

In March 2017, Dubai Police's Bugatti Veyron was recognised as the world's fastest police car in service by Guinness World Records.

Aston Martin One-77

The Aston Martin One-77 is an absolute beauty. This limited edition model is definitely at the higher end of the Dubai Police budget. It is a British-made car from the iconic brand synonymous with James Bond. Surprisingly, they only made 77 of them.

Aston Martin even set up a particular factory with their finest engineers to produce this masterpiece. With its 7.3-litre V12 engine, this supercar is a true gem, delivering 750 horsepower.

Lamborghini Urus

By the end of 2023, the year that marked the brand's 60th anniversary, the Lamborghini Dubai dealership sealed another successful collaboration with Dubai Police, delivering an Urus Performante.

Fitted with a twin-turbo V8 engine producing 666 CV of power and 850 Nm of torque between 2,300 and 4,500 rpm, the Urus Performante boasts a swift acceleration from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 306 kph.

Lamborghini Aventador

The Lamborghini Aventador in Dubai Police colours is truly a sight to behold. The engineers equipped this car with a formidable V12 engine and named it after a courageous Spanish fighting bull that fought in Zaragoza, Aragón, in 1993. This car can go from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 350 kph.

Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT-V8 has been part of Dubai Police's fleet since 2023. Equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 engine, this model boasts an 8-cylinder configuration, generating 542 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in under 3.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 318 kph (198 mph).
