What Do 1,000 Porsches In One Place Look Like?
The question in the title means that Icons of Porsche is returning to Dubai this November — with more than 1,000 cars expected, a new home in Nad Al Sheba and a crowd that could once again reach 30,000.
So, what will it look like?
We will get another chance to find out this November, when Icons of Porsche returns to Dubai for its sixth edition.
The festival will take place on November 21–22, 2026, and this time it is moving to The Square Nad Al Sheba, leaving its previous location behind for a new, larger setting.
And “festival” is probably the right word here because it isn’t just a line-up of pristine cars behind barriers. Icons of Porsche brings together classic cars, newer models, art and the wider culture that has developed around the brand in the region. Last year, more than 30,000 people came across the weekend, with over 1,000 sports cars on display.
For context, that means you could spend quite a while walking around before seeing the same kind of Porsche twice.
The event has also grown considerably since its first edition. Porsche now describes it as the largest automotive festival in the region and one of the company’s best-known community gatherings anywhere in the world.
So, what is happening this year?
For now, Porsche is keeping most of the programme under wraps.
The company says more information — including further details about the new venue — will be announced over the coming weeks. What it does expect is for both attendance and the number of cars on display to remain around the same level as previous years.
So, what we have now: potentially another 1,000-plus cars and tens of thousands of visitors in Nad Al Sheba.
Tickets are already on sale for AED 85, while children under 12 can attend free when registered alongside a ticketed adult.
And if you are not the kind of person who can identify a 911 generation from its headlights? That might not matter as much as you think. At this scale, Icons of Porsche has become as much about seeing Dubai’s car community gathered in one place as it is about knowing exactly what is under every bonnet.
