Nikita von Tiraspol is back with another Desert Boots episode — and this time, he is joined by Evan Michael, one of those people quietly shaping New York’s nightlife behind the scenes.
They didn’t meet through some big, planned moment. It was actually much simpler — a random morning email Nikita got from Evan, with a folder of tracks attached. The kind you go through thinking, "How am I even meant to choose?" But somehow, he did.
Two of them ended up shaping the whole mix: Paranoia and Vice Versa. The first leans into that slightly hypnotic, indie-house-meets-cosmic feel — the kind that just works on a dancefloor. The second is lighter, more playful — it has that easy, uplifting energy that doesn’t try too hard.
So if you are after something that feels like a bit of a mood shift, this is probably it.
