Founded over a decade ago by Bahraini DJ and creative Salah Sadeq, TECHFUI is an independent, vinyl-focused electronic music label built around a simple philosophy: music should have character, not necessarily a genre. With more than 30 years of experience behind the decks, Salah has always approached music through emotion and curiosity, moving freely between house, techno and more experimental sounds.

One of the label's defining features is its commitment to physical releases. Each record is limited to just 300 copies, with visual artists often invited to create the sleeve artwork. TECHFUI also places a strong emphasis on supporting emerging talent and encouraging collaborations across cultures and disciplines. Rather than chasing trends or big names, the label looks for artists with distinctive voices, particularly those who might otherwise struggle to find space in an increasingly commercial music industry.

And this time, TECHFUI is joined by Tamara Qabazard, better known as Tamara Q, a Kuwaiti DJ, emerging music producer and full-time veterinarian based in the UAE. Her relationship with music began long before she stepped behind the decks, with a classical background in flute and cello that eventually led her towards electronic music.

Alongside DJing, Tamara is now exploring music production, with plans to bring her classical training into her electronic work — particularly by incorporating the cello into her own tracks and live performances. Having already performed at major events such as MDLBEAST Soundstorm, she continues to build her presence in the region's electronic music scene while balancing two seemingly unrelated passions: music and veterinary medicine.
