We have already covered sneaker stores in Dubai. Now, it is Abu Dhabi's turn. Where can you find the models you have been dreaming about? Check out our list below.
Sneaker District
At the end of 2020, sneakerheads scored another hotspot: Sneaker District, which opened at Abu Dhabi’s World Trade Center in collaboration with Youbetterfly. It was no surprise that it gained popularity swiftly. And as expected, it has been buzzing ever since.
Adorned with graffiti-covered walls and industrial concrete floors, it fully embraces the urban culture of sneakers. Spanning three floors and 35,000 square feet, the space features an indoor basketball court where customers can shoot hoops and enjoy the in-store café "Origin 33".
On the shelves, you will discover a diverse collection of popular footwear and apparel brands such as Nike, Vans, Asics, Mizuno, New Balance, , and more. As the founders of Sneaker District put it, their store is "only for the sneaker freaks." So, if you are truly obsessed with kicks, this is the spot for you.
In the café "Origin 33", you can savour a variety of options including coffee, fresh orange juice, vegan muffins (dates, blueberry, or chocolate chip), sandwiches, and more.

Amongst Few
We have highlighted Amongst Few in our review of sneaker stores in Dubai, and honestly, it would have been impossible not to showcase it in this article, too.
Amongst Few in Abu Dhabi was opened in 2023 in Mina Zayed, between Yas Island and the city centre. The founders teamed up with architectural design company "Shell+core" to bring the essence of the Dubai flagship store to Abu Dhabi. The store seamlessly blends raw materials like cement, steel, and concrete with touches of natural ash wood and curved architecture. And pay attention to the wall that separates the shop space from café space — it is broken.
Spanning 1,000 square feet, the space serves as both a lifestyle store and café, uniting retail, art, music, food, and lifestyle into one dynamic cultural hub. Customers can browse apparel, sneakers, and accessories from brands like amongst few, Nike, Jordan, adidas, and New Balance, as well as pick up vinyl LPs, coffee beans, and natural incense. The store also boasts exclusive skateboarding hardware and decks.
Location: Souq Al Mina, Unit 4B and 5B, Port Zayed
Dropkick
Dropkicks stores are renowned for their vibrant atmosphere, complete with LED screens, light boxes, floor LEDs, and arrows guiding you through the latest sneaker offerings. And of course, we can't overlook our favourite mascot — that iconic white figure with the oversized head and striking black eyes.
Their Instagram description captures the excitement perfectly: “When The Hot Kicks Drop, Walk This Way.” We won't spoil the surprise — you will have to experience it for yourself.
By the way, you can keep track of the latest drops by checking their website. There, you will find recently released models as well as those set to drop very soon, complete with a countdown timer.
