This January, LVMH hosted a series of events in New York and Paris for the sixth edition of LVMH Watch Week, where nine of its watchmaking Maisons unveiled their latest creations. Our fashion contributor, Sana Bun, took a closer look at the novelties and handpicked the ones that deserve a spot on the wishlist.
Bvlgari, Serpenti Seduttori Automatic and Serpenti Tubogas Automatic
Call me biased (guilty as charged), but as a fashion enthusiast, I believe that a chronometer doubling as a jewellery piece is the ultimate statement accessory. Bvlgari’s signature reptile design definitely falls into this category. Already iconic and absolutely stunning, the Serpenti now becomes even better with the brand-new in-house automatic movement, Lady Solotempo BVS100.

Making its debut in the Serpenti Seduttori collection and occasionally adorning two Serpenti Tubogas timepieces, this calibre was developed specifically because no existing movement on the market could meet the unique requirements needed to fit perfectly within the Serpenti head. The Lady Solotempo BVS100 integrates seamlessly into the Serpenti curves while remaining versatile for other Bvlgari creations. Measuring 19 mm in diameter and 3.90 mm in thickness, it weighs just 5 grams yet delivers an impressive 50-hour power reserve.
Let’s not forget the details — like transparent case back, which reveals an oscillating weight adorned with seven Serpenti scales that mimic reptilian skin, cohesively tying together the aesthetics of all nine models in the line while nodding to Bvlgari’s heritage and jewellery-making DNA.

Tiffany & Co., The Carat 128 Watch
Tiffany & Co. has a long history of blending jewellery with timepieces, so its first-ever appearance at LVMH Watch Week — embodying a legacy of precious craftsmanship — felt only natural.
The brand showcased a jewellery-inspired collection alongside remarkable archival timepieces, from gold pocket watches to diamond-encrusted lapel designs, all celebrating its 187-year heritage.

Tiffany & Co.’s lineup isn’t exactly one for minimalists. Even the more (relatively) understated designs — like The Carat 128 watch, crafted in 18k yellow gold and set with 240 yellow diamonds across the case, dial, and crown — are dazzling enough to blind you with their shine. But honestly, why not?
Daniel Roth, Extra Plat Souscription
“There’s nothing nicer than an extra thin watch on the wrist”, says Daniel Roth, founder of the eponymous brand and a pioneer of independent watchmaking — and it is hard to disagree.
The Maison’s newest dress watch, Extra Plat Souscription, unveiled during LVMH Watch Week, proves this point with its ultra-slim 7.7 mm case and revisited curved lugs, ensuring a perfectly (and very satisfying) tailored fit on the wrist.
Originally launched in 1990, the revived Extra Plat Souscription series is now powered by specially designed DR002 mechanical movement with manual winding and 65-hour power reserve. Limited to just 20 pieces, each watch is engraved with the individual number on both the plain case back and the dial.
A true ode to traditional watchmaking, the timepiece features a yellow gold case and a signature hand-crafted Clou de Paris guilloché dial — an intricate detail that alone requires nearly two full days of meticulous work. To achieve this level of craftsmanship, historical machinery from the mid-1800s and mid-1990s was sourced from collectors and museums worldwide and carefully restored. And as a final nod to Haute Horlogerie — the steel winding bar click, ensuring that rewarding feel when winding the movement.
