Loro Piana’s Ramadan Collection Inspired By AlUla's Landscape

17 Feb 2024

In recent years, fashion brands from around the world have been fashioning capsule collections in honour of the holy month of Ramadan. The Italian luxury house Loro Piana is among these brands. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of AlUla's natural landscape, Loro Piana created a Middle East exclusive to the brand's signature refined elegance. AlUla is known for its rocky terrain and rich colour that can be found throughout every piece of the collection, serving up a timeless and contemporary selection of clothing.
Precious stones elevate stripes, jacquard motifs and embroideries against a pastel colour palette, enriching clothing and accessories. Designed for ease and comfort without compromising on sophistication, the collection is laden with relaxed fits in the brand's signature elegance and style. In true Loro Piana fashion, the collection is wearable and luxurious, highlighting fluid silhouettes in the highest quality materials.
Taking inspiration from AlUla’s ancient landscape, the collection features voluminous pantsuits, dresses, wrap skirts, and caftans. It is meant to be layered, as is so often seen in womenswear in this part of the world. Crafted from silk and linen, the brand has ensured that the collection is light and cool, making it comfortable to wear in the Middle East.
The brand has also reimagined some of its leather goods for this capsule collection. The Extra Pocket, Bale Bag, and Extra Bag have all been reimagined in the earthy colour palette inspired by the AlUla landscape. The accessories are topped off with silk scarves with rich texture and shoes crafted from soft leather for extra comfort and elegance.
The collection will be available from February 20th in select stores across the Middle East and via Loro Piana's website.
