What can be better than a good cup of coffee? A cup of coffee with a good book. And what could be even better than that? A great group of like-minded people to share your thoughts with. That is the idea behind our book club launched in collaboration with ABC Coffee Roasters — we have created a welcoming space for reading, chatting, laughing, and reflecting. Here are answers to all your burning questions about ABC Reads:

What is ABC Reads?

It is a community that meets monthly to enjoy thrilling books, delicious catering, and inspiring talks from guest speakers. Last month, for example, we had Dina L. Storey, CEO of Optimum Green Ventures and an expert on climate change and sustainability, share her insights.

Where does the book club take place?

ABC Roasters in One Central, DWTC hosted our previous meeting in October (we truly enjoyed aesthetics, amazing coffee and matcha, and their famous Chocolate Basque Cheesecake). For the following events stay tuned!

What is the cost?

Membership is 400 AED per month, and here is what is included:

A handpicked book each month, selected with care (so you can stop judging them by their covers).
Delicious croissants at every meeting because food and books are the perfect pair.
Inspiring talks from guest speakers, guaranteed to make you think, laugh, and maybe even re-evaluate your life choices.

We dive into topics like art, literature, cinema, design, and more. It is the best way to enjoy books without feeling like you are reading alone.
