From Humanoid Robot To Local Craftsmanship: Riyadh Fashion Week Highlights

26 Oct 2024

image
Following its debut in 2023, Riyadh Fashion Week is back for a second edition. This October, more than 30 Saudi designers presented collections that blend tradition with modern innovation, highlighting the event’s focus on cultural exchange and creativity.
Riyadh is clearly establishing itself as a space where fashion is progressing with a thoughtful eye on the future. The fashion week brought together a range of creative visions, reflecting not only the trajectory of Saudi fashion but also its deep-rooted connection to culture and identity. From Kaf by Kaf, exploring the true meaning of beauty through the tension between technology and nature — complete with the first Saudi-made humanoid robot hitting the runway — to Tima Abid, honouring Saudi heritage by merging local craftsmanship with couture gowns, the event showcased a fascinating mix of perspectives.
Curious about which collections really caught our eye? Dive into our curated selection of highlights from Riyadh Fashion Week for a closer look!
