Best Gifts For Eid Al Adha 2026

Eid Al Adha is coming, and this year we have a truly generous long weekend — the kind that starts as “just a few days off” and somehow becomes a full personality reset. To celebrate properly, we recommend beginning the gift hunt now, before everyone else remembers that they also have families, friends, hosts and impossible-to-shop-for cousins.

Luckily, we are here to help with gifts that spark joy in your loved ones and, very possibly, in you too. Because giving is beautiful, especially on a sacred occasion like this. And receiving a little “thank you, I bought myself one as well” moment? Also spiritually acceptable, we think.

Sweets

An all-time classic: delicious, beautiful and almost suspiciously universal. Think premium chocolates from Godiva, dates from Bateel, or more chocolate from Mirzam, because restraint is admirable but not always necessary.

A touch of luxury

A bit of Hermès is always a good idea. If you aren't quite in the mood for a Birkin — relatable, of course — a silk scarf or a pair of earrings will do very nicely. Quiet luxury, but make it gift-wrapped.

Perfume

Will it be amber and oud, or something lighter for the summer season? Diptyque’s floral aromas seem — or rather, smell — perfect. Personally, I would go for something patchouli-rich from Loewe, but the world of fragrance is yours. Choose wisely, spray generously.

Travel

My personal wish list now has another bullet point, and it is a suitcase — or two — from the new Tumi Mediterranean Escape collection. Ever faced the problem of not being able to spot your luggage on the belt right away? With these bright colours, the problem solves itself immediately. Very practical, very chic, very “yes, I do travel well”.

Beauty

Will it be pure joy with a La Mer set? Or something genuinely useful for summer — by which I mean, of course, a Lancaster sunscreen set? Or perhaps the Radiance Glow Set from Almora Botanica, to treat the skin to essential oils and the illusion of having slept properly? Honestly, it is hard to resist. Even harder not to give it to yourself.

Gadgets

Something fun, like a Nintendo Switch. Something for a perfect hair day every day, like the Dyson Airwrap. Or something to keep you fit, organised and mildly judged by your own wrist, like an Apple Watch. Take my money and give me everything.

Eid gifting doesn't have to be complicated. A thoughtful present, a little indulgence and a beautiful excuse to spoil the people you love — that is the whole idea. And if one or two gifts mysteriously end up being for you as well, don't worry. We won't tell.
