TOOFLIE is a unique vinyl-focused electronic music label and editing project based in Riga. What makes it different? Rather than promoting individual star artists, the label often releases music by anonymous or underground producers, giving it a slightly mysterious identity. And that mystery is part of the idea — taking interesting music from different parts of the world and reshaping it into dance-floor-ready tracks.
This time, the invited artist is Daniel, the curator behind the Daydream Jazz series — a live event concept designed to help listeners drift away from everyday life and into the beautiful world of contemporary jazz.
His musical focus often leans towards Brazil and Africa, where vibrant rhythms naturally blend with jazz, funk, and gospel. The idea behind this mix follows the same spirit as his beloved project — to give people a chance to breathe and simply enjoy the music.
