Wearable Blooms: Emerging Brands Turning Flowers Into Jewelry
21 Nov 2025
At The Sandy Times, we are drawn to designers who push boundaries, exploring unconventional references and materials. In this edit, we spotlight emerging jewelry brands that turn the plant world into their creative playground — by working with real flowers or just borrowing their shapes and spirit.
ByGoldiie
A brainchild of a Carribean multidisciplinary artist Goldiie Merenciana, ByGoldiie is Netherlands-based jewelry label and ongoing exploration of what beauty means, how it feels, and where it can be found. Goldie doesn't only work with flowers in their pure form, but also draws inspiration from separate elements, deconstructing and reconstructing them.
Florea
Rooted in femininity, craftsmanship and sunshine, Florea preserves the natural grace of real orchids to make them bloom forever. The story of the brand starts in the garden of the founder’s mom in Curaçao, where these flowers still grow and where they are sourced to be turned into jewelry. Each piece, made by an all-women team from nickel-free brass plated in 24K gold, is a tribute to the softness and strength of a female nature.
Drool Jewel
Founded by London-based Greek designer Olina, Drool Jewel combines floral elements with the delicate, liquid beauty of water. Inspired by her homeland’s sea and the endless drizzle of the British capital, she crafts resin pieces that seem to ripple and move, making each creation feel like a raindrop caught mid-fall.
Nastya Buryan
Unlike the previous creators who work with real flowers, former costume designer Nastya Buryan takes another approach and only draws inspiration from them to merge her cinematic vision and jewelry. Her namesake brand translates the joy of flowers into playful, almost naive forms made from an eclectic mix of polymers, enamel, resin, stones, and glass.
Palissade Sad
For Sonya, Palissade Sad’s founder, a flower is one of the most beautiful stages of the plant’s life, so she tries to capture the moment and turns it into floral earrings. Her pieces resemble real blossoms you can find around you — in nature, at the flower shop, or even in your own window.
