Some of the latest breaking news is that the legendary Saucony, the "Original Running Brand", is now launching in the Middle East. But how so, you ask? Well, our beloved SVD, in particular their distributional arm SVD International, is becoming their partner in this sneaker crime.
For those who are unfamiliar with the brand, Saucony is a 126-year-old iconic running brand. Founded back in 1898 (insane!), Saucony has always prioritised the fusion of innovation, style and culture. You can see some similarities with SVD’s ethos, right?
Known for its acclaimed technologies such as PWRRUNTM PB, PWRRUN+TM, and SPEEDROLLTM, Saucony is about producing inventive technical and lifestyle footwear and apparel for anyone’s active lifestyle while saving their knees.

SVD International, led by General Manager Alberto Gaudiaso and Asher Abdul Rahiman (you could have seen Asher here), aims to enrich the lives of local communities, hoping to bring to the region diverse brands and cultures.

SVD (as well as its distribution arm) is a crafted community centre as much as it’s a retail outlet. With such aligning philosophies and a great blend of expertise and chic, this exclusive partnership seems like a perfect combo.
But where to find the gorgeous pieces from the pictures we have here? SVD plans to build the brand from running specialty and top-tier fashion retailers in the region. Products will be available across select retailers in the Middle East starting April 2024.
